Wheat and flour are the most important products that must be available in every Yemeni home. Accordingly, YECO realizes the importance of making these two substances at the fingertips of every Yemeni family with convenient prices. Also to both end any attempts to monopolization and secure any emergency cases, it has and always guarantees to possess strategic reserve of wheat, cereals, and flour to suffice the needs of the public. To maintain the balance of flour in the market and bring about an end to any monopolization, the YECO constructed the grain silos and flour mills sector. Another aim is to provide the public with the basics for a dignified Living and to achieve food security The Sector's Services: The sector works on: - Storing and guaranteeing flour by its 6 silos with a production capacity of 20,000 tons. This capacity is increasable - Producing flour with different sizes - Producing Al- Sahoul Flour with a production capacity ranging between 400 to 500 tons per day - Producing the Family Size Flour with a production capacity ranging between 60 to 100 tons per day.
