The Executive Director General of the Yemeni Economic Corporation, Brigadier General Sami Saleh Al-Saeedi, chaired an expanded meeting that included the Director General of the Salt Sector, Lieutenant Colonel Yasser Mahmoud Abu Al-Laith, in the presence of the employees of the sector affiliated to the Yemeni Economic Corporation.
During the meeting, the Director General of the Economic Corporation stressed the need to make more efforts in the production process and keep pace with the continuous development in this vital sector, as it is one of its important economic and commercial tributaries.
Director Al-Saeedi also urged the leadership and employees of the salt sector to abide by the necessary controls and laws in the course of administrative work in accordance with the law, pointing to the development of a new plan to develop the sector's performance in a way that helps the local production process, according to a new mechanism that regulates the work of the sector, which is witnessing a tangible development in the process of preparation, production and export.
For his part, the Director General of the Salt Sector, Lieutenant Colonel Yasser Mahmoud Abu Al-Laith, praised the great efforts made by the Director General of the Economic Corporation, represented by Brigadier General Sami Al-Saeedi, to the sector and his keenness to resume and restore the role and activity of salt production.
Abu Al-Laith gave a detailed explanation about the sector's activity during the past period and the most important measures it took in the process of producing salt and the quantity needed by the local market, as well as meeting a number of Arab and international markets.
The Director General of the salt sector also thanked the leadership of the Economic Corporation, represented by the Director General, Brigadier General Sami Al-Saeedi, who pays great attention to the development of the salt sector despite the difficult circumstances that our country is going through, praising the efforts of all workers in the sector for their efforts to improve the work of the sector for the better.
