The Director General of the Yemeni Economic Corporation, Brigadier General Sami Al-Saeedi, met today in his office with the Director General of the Mukalla City Directorate, Brigadier General Abdullah Salem Bayashut, to discuss joint cooperation between the Economic Corporation and the local authority in the directorate.
In the meeting, the General Director of the Economic Corporation, Brigadier Al-Saidi, affirmed the Corporation's interest in supporting the local authority in Mukalla and sharing with it the concerns of citizens, and advancing the development wheel and what would serve the community, especially in light of the conditions that the country suffers from.
Brigadier General Al-Saeedi directed that financial support be provided to purchase a number of sacrificial animals for needy and needy families, at the request of the local authority to complete urgent needs, and to provide the necessary facilities for handing over a warehouse to be a warehouse to receive relief materials, according to the agreement concluded with the Director General of the Directorate of the city of Mukalla.
The Director General of the Directorate of the city of Mukalla, Brigadier General Bayashut, appreciated the strategic role played by the Economic Corporation in supporting the community and the continuous efforts in all governorates, including Hadramout, expressing his appreciation and the leadership of the local authority in the Directorate for the efforts of the Director General of the Corporation in providing facilities for the implementation of the sacrifice project and other needs.
In addition, the two sides discussed the prospects for partnership and activating the field of tourism investment affiliated to the tourism sector in the corporation in Hadramout Governorate, especially the city of Mukalla, in coordination with the local authority in the province represented by the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, given the stability that the province enjoys.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Central Accounts at the Economic Corporation, Abdul Karim Al-Sufyani, the Director of Public Relations at the Corporation, Murad Saleh, the Director of the Construction Sector, Eng. Saddam Al-Luboud, the Vice-Chairman of the Community Committees in the district, Hussein Al-Akbari, and the Chairman of the Coordinating Committee at the Department of Community Committees, and the Vice-Chairman of the Relief Committee, Anis Bahmeed.
